PS2 Beats Out PS3, Wii, and Xbox360 for October 2008

Given the fact that there are so many Playstation 2 consoles out there, it isn't a huge surprise that the PS2 is beating out the other consoles in terms of usage.

Not just beating them, its usage stats are almost the same as adding those for the 360 and the Wii together. Not too shabby for a system that was released in 2000. Looking at the stats listed on Wikipedia, the PS2 had sold 140 million units through July '08.

We have a Wii and a PS2, but the Wii gets used a bit more than the PS2. I'll blame that one on the kids since most of their games are on the Wii. Personally, I don't feel that any of the Wii games are really using the Wii's control system to its utmost yet.
