Linkin Park

Finally scored Meteora by Linkin Park (yeah, yeah, I'm way behind). The jury is still out as to whether it is better than Hybrid Theory. That album stayed in my CD player so long that it probably left a permanent footprint. I'll have to listen to it a few dozen more times to be fair. Faint and Breaking the Habit have my vote for the best songs on Meteora so far.

My taste in music is really strange. I used to try to discuss it with friends, but I gave up on it. Similar to my philosophy and view on life. I live by my strange, contorted code, and I don't expect (anymore) that other people will understand. Ok, maybe contorted is way off. I try to hold myself to a higher standard than I expect anyone else to live up to, and I try to look at situations from other perspectives. Like maybe there's a reason that Mr. Idiot is driving in dense fog without his headlights on other than the fact that he's an idiot. ;-)
