I downloaded Firefox on their "set the record for downloads" day, and the way that was handled seemed odd to me. I'm in EST, meaning that downloads opened at 1pm. Okkkkkk, if the goal was to have the most downloads during a day, it seems like starting the download window at midnight and running through the following night would make the most sense to me.
Anyway, no huge differences to the average user. I guess that I've noticed fewer situations where some websites would not work with Firefox. I did have a problem where a site was loading very slowly in Firefox, but IE opened it normally. I tried it again later, and it loaded smoothly in both (it was a couple days ago, so I can't remember what site that happened on). I marked it down as an internet issue.
I did not like the fact that the Firefox installation program did not appear to offer an option to keep Firefox from being my default browser. I really prefer having my own choices about which browser is the default -- somewhat frustrating there.
